VES Analyses (W6)
With VES you can co-assess the effectiveness of Participant contributions and subsequently enhance overall organizational performance if warranted.
VES enables Participants to analyse transactions from many perspectives including value, risk, and criticality by focusing on:
· localized contributions between Participants who are either sending or receiving a deliverable
· an overall view of the business model (see W3)
A key purpose of these analyses is to help people co-assess parameters of interest, for example, the costs, risks, or gains to a Participant’s assets as summarised in the following table.
Each analysis consists of a series of questions which in the case of VAS can reach up to 30 or more. These need to be tailored to each situation and developed in conjunction with contributors to the analysis.
VAP in particular could reveal disagreements between Participants on the value, risk, and criticality of deliverables sent and received, especially if the results of analysis are represented diagrammatically as follows. A standard set of questions for VAS is available for those who wish to use it.
Experience shows that the most “wow” moments occur when the focus is on Roles and when either VAP or VAS is being addressed. Emerging feelings of discovery engender emotion which assists in the transfer of new knowledge to colleagues and ideas for enhancing overall performance if warranted.
All types of Analysis can be used for incremental, targeted, collaborative feedback.
Data is collected and analysed using the Type 3 way (H4)
